As an experienced portfolio manager, Benedikt Kirsch combines fundamental investment craft with a strong quantitative understanding of capital markets and companies.
Before joining Caplign Wealth, Benedikt spent more than eight years at CHOM CAPITAL, most recently as Portfolio Manager and Head of Sustainability. There, his work focused in particular on fundamental company analysis, the identification of new investment ideas, and the systematic advancement of the investment process, quantitative risk modelling, and the development of the firm's sustainability strategy.
His distinctive profile lies at the interface between investment management and quantitative analysis. Benedikt holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Università Bocconi in Milan and deepened his methodological expertise on a part-time basis with an MSc in Applied Data Science, specialising in Machine Learning, at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He completed his BSc in International Business Administration at the University of Tübingen, including a study year abroad in Los Angeles. He previously gained further professional experience at inter alia DWS and EY.
