

Nils Mallock is an experienced asset management expert and behavioural scientist with over eleven years of professional experience in the financial industry. His career spans active portfolio management, investment strategy, and behavioural finance, with a strong track record in both institutional and private banking. Additionally, he has expertise in the field of blockchain technology and decentralized economies.
During his tenure at Deutsche Bank Asset Management / DWS, Nils worked in active portfolio management and later within the central strategy team. In Frankfurt and Hong Kong, he led projects focused on optimizing the active asset management platform, product performance, and investment processes. Following his time at DWS, Nils joined Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank as a Portfolio and Client Strategy Manager, where he spearheaded projects in wealth management and investment strategy.
Nils holds a PhD in Behavioural Economics and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and King’s College London. He regularly delivers lectures and workshops designed to help investors and asset managers better align long-term decision-making with human behaviour. In addition to his financial expertise, Nils remains active in research; his work has been featured in academic journals, media outlets, and by policy institutions. He holds an MSc in Behavioural Science from the LSE and a BSc in Finance & Economics from the Frankfurt School of Finance.
